1. I'm sure if it were a real game then the gameplay would be expanded just a bit. Most shooters are just shoot the bad guys with a gun anyway.
2. People who grew up with the Ghostbusters now have money, and constitute a significant percentage of the gaming population. And hell, look at recent games based on Scarface and The Godfather.
3. You just made that number up. And your sentence makes no sense (seriously, reread it). What if the Rare had said that before they made Goldeneye?
they made games for The Warriors, Scarface, The Godfather, and some others recently that didn't do too shaby. I personally didn't have an desire to play those games, but I would totally be down for a Ghostbusters remake... so long as they keep stairs out of the second level. I hate those stairs.
After seeing games such as the Godfather, Scarface, and Pulp Fiction being published, I don't even ask that question anymore. It wouldn't even be the first Ghostbusters video game.
still, pretty damn cool! i'd be first in line if they ever did a title that was faithful to the games, or even the cartoon (not the old ghostbusters but the 'real' ghostbuster... although...)
Wow, I remember playing Ghostbusters on a ZX-Spectrum. Is it safe to say that this upcoming game is going to have better loading times than a cassette tape?
real or not, it looks kinda shitty. plus...even if they zap the ghosts, they aren't containing them. so they'll just get back up and run around again! it makes no sense! CRAZINESS!!
This is one absolutely well-made, amazing hoax if it is. How (and why) the fuck would somebody make something look so authentically like a video game just for shits and giggles?
As previously stated Zootfly made it. They are a European company, and I think they were just throwing this out there to show what they could do. Personally if this ever did see the light of day, I would snatch it up in a heartbeat, this game looks mad fun.
One down side though (well, possible downside.) I'm pretty sure Sony owns the rights to the ghostbusters franchise, so you wouldn't see it on anything other than a PS3. I could be wrong about that one though,
